The countdown begins for the launch of «Pombo Tokens»

The first issue of Pombos is expected for 15 October at 1:00 p.m. CET and will consist of a total of 350 Pombos.

Subscribers will acquire the Pombos by transferring the amount of lumens (a cryptocurrency) provided in the smart contract which generated the tokens. Then, each subscriber will choose the project of the Foundation for which the underlying value of the Pombo is to be used (pro bono hours of Gómez-Acebo & Pombo lawyers) via a transfer to the virtual wallet for said project.

The «Pombo Tokens» project is being launched to promote the Fundación Fernando Pombo’s projects of access to justice that require financing and also pro bono work of Gómez-Acebo & Pombo lawyers. This issue of Pombos is a pioneering project which allows, via tokens, both fundraising for non-profit institutions and the channeling of pro bono work to legal projects with a social impact.
