Participating in this meeting were lawyers from the firm G\u00f3mez-Acebo &amp; Pombo, from the legal team of the Concepci\u00f3n Arenal Care Centre for victims of human trafficking and prostitution and the expert team from the \u201cRights for Change\u201d project from the Fundaci\u00f3n Fernando Pombo and Asociaci\u00f3n TRABE.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Among the issues discussed at the meeting were the difficulty in accessing certain rights and social benefits, sanctions imposed by the Citizens\u2019 Safety Act on women involved in prostitution, obstacles in detecting and identifying victims as well as certain legal aspects related to underage children of victims of human trafficking and support.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On 22 January, we held a new meeting to address certain situations and legal aspects on protection and assistance for victims and\/or survivors of human trafficking for the purposes of sexual exploitation in Spain.
