MINORS

The twofold vulnerability of being a child and having a serious illness is a constant worry for all. Therefore, we develop projects with social institutions that promote the improvement of rights of these children and their families by jointly seeking out solutions to the legal obstacles they face in accessing diagnoses, treatment, medication, therapy or monitoring of their illness, as well as to have the support of families regardless of the location of treatment. . Mental health has been recognised as one of the greatest social-health challenges of this century. We try to involve the legal profession in the improvement of access to rights of individuals with mental health problems and their families, while at the same time promoting the mental wellbeing of the profession.

SERIOUS AND RARE ILLNESSES

We promote the protection of rights of individuals with serious and rare illnesses by analysing certain legal aspects and situations that give rise to defencelessness and hopelessness in those suffering from such illnesses, such as the process of patient referral between regions, accessing orphan drugs or matters related to social benefits and insurance.
