Cookies can be classified according to the entity which manages the device or domain from which cookies are sent and handles the data obtained, as follows:
First-party cookies: those sent to the user’s terminal from a device or domain directly managed by the editor, which provides the service requested by the user.
Third-party cookies: those sent to the user’s terminal from a device or domain that is not managed by the editor, but rather by a third-party entity responsible for the treatment of data obtained from the cookies.
Those cookies that are installed from a device or domain managed by the editor, but where data collected therefrom is managed by a third party, cannot be considered first-party cookies.
Our Web Site uses first-party and third-party cookies which allows us to store and access information related to language, the browser type used and other general characteristics pre-defined by the user, as well as follow-up and analyse the activity carried out, with the intent of introducing improvements and providing services in a more efficient and personal manner. The Foundation does not use advertising cookies or targeting cookies.
The use of cookies offers numerous advantages in the provision of services in the Information Society, given that, among others, they: (i) enable the user to browse the Web Site and access the various services offered therein; (ii) make it unnecessary for the user to configure the general predefined characteristics each time they access the Web Site; (iii) allow for improved functioning and enhancements in services provided through the Web Site, following the relevant analysis of information obtained through the installed cookies.
The Foundation does not collect or store your personal data (for example, name or address), therefore, this information cannot be used for identification purposes.

Session cookies: Session cookies, also known as in-memory cookies, exist only in temporary memory while the user browses the web page. Session cookies do not permanently record any data onto the computer’s hard drive.

Cookies used by plug-ins from external content providers
Cookies used by plugins from external content providers are needed for the user to access the content or services of third-party suppliers, for example, in order to view videos from Youtube or to see geographical locations on Google Maps. They are governed by the provisions of their respective cookie policies.
Google plugins

Information collected by external Google plugins on our Web Site, including a user’s IP address, may be transferred to Google and stored on its servers. This information is managed entirely by Google. These cookies do not identify the user personally, unless they are actively using a Google session, in which case they are linked to the Google account in use. The Foundation uses a Google Maps plugin in order to view geographic locations (such as our office or other locations).
The Foundation’s Web Site includes pages with videos that are embedded in Youtube. Cookies implemented by Google on any page that includes a Youtube video are used to gauge the number and behaviour of usage on Youtube, including the information linked to their visit to our Web Site with their Google account, in the event that they are browsing with an active session. Updates
These lists shall be updated as soon as possible when there are any changes to the services offered on the web site.
